God is ordering your circumstances for your maximum profit, down to the mite of the details, but he does this in a way that seems like he is disordering your circumstances for your minimal happiness. I learned way too late, even though I'm still young, that God's sovereignty first takes its forms in the unraveling of personal fortitude. Chaos breaks out, we act against our conscience, pain happens, and the things you put your trust in so confidently are as baseless as a house of cards.
The key is not to ask for better situations. Maybe it's to understand that these circumstances are divinely ordered, given and overseen, for your good and wellbeing. We're given a sharp discipline but its real comfort to know an actual Benevolent Intelligence is behind the discipline, shaping you to be who He made you.
