Collisions and Connections
There are floodlights of an evening,
tunes of fortitude in the sky,
a scrape of city blooms,
a sash of life gives a reprise.
a connection would be nice,
a conquering of the veil,
a communion with what I see,
with you.
There are masks of our making,
lines and words with no truth,
a simple light gets fiddled,
a mark of smile gives a retreat.
a connection would be good,
a blow to the blockage,
a collision with what you are,
not only what I see.
